SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (May 9, 2017) – Treat mom to a meal that is memorable and delicious this weekend at Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort. Located off Loop 101 in Scottsdale, both destinations are home to numerous restaurants that will offer dining specials in honor of Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, 2017. From fine dining and buffets to grab and go, Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort will have a selection for every appetite.
The following are the Mother’s Day specials offered at each property:
TALKING STICK RESORT
Treat mom to dinner with a view this Mother’s Day as the resort’s signature restaurant offers a delectable four course pre fixe menu from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. First course is Strawberry and Goat Cheese Salad with chamomile dressing and organic greens ($10). Second Course is Grilled Gull Shrimp with lemon basil risotto and sugar snap peas ($17). The entrée is a choice of Grilled Beef Tenderloin with aged cheddar potatoes, sweet garlic, corn-fried green beans $39 or Alaskan Halibut Filet with fiddlehead ferns with prickly pear beet reduction $36. Dessert is a choice of Meyer Lemon Mousse Cake with raspberry sauce and crispy blueberries $9 or Chocolate Banana Torte with caramel cream with toasted hazelnuts $9. Orange Sky’s pre fixe menu is $70. Items are also available separately.
Blue Coyote Cafe
Try Blue Coyote Café’s special Mother’s Day menu from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m this Sunday. Select a soup or house salad for the appetizer followed by a main course of Seafood Bouillabaisse with jumbo shrimp, Littleneck clams, mussels, fingerling potatoes, roasted fennel bulb, garlic French bread served in a rich lobster and shrimp tomato broth. To complete the meal, enjoy Meyer Lemon Semifreddo with blackberry coulis. $21.95
The award winning international buffet will open at a special time on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14 to celebrate Mom. Enjoy brunch, lunch and dinner items all day, both days.

From 11 a.m.- 9 p.m. on Sunday, moms can enjoy Cajun inspired pre fixe menu starting with a Baby Green Salad with pecans, goat cheese and mango dressing, the main course is Lobster and Seafood Creole with Maine lobster, shrimp, clams, Creole sauce with mushrooms, portabella mushroom risotto and steamed vegetables, and for dessert Strawberry Tiramisu. $48
The ARENA Poker Room
There is no need to miss a minute of the poker action thanks to the three-course menu offered in The ARENA Poker Room on Mother’s Day. From 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. players can start with a Baby Green Salad with pecans, blue cheese and mango dressing. The main course is Salmon Wellington with salmon, pastry wrap, Duxelle mushrooms, Bearnaise sauce, mushroom wild rice and roasted vegetables. The meal concludes with Lemon Cream Cake. $17
Cholla Prime Steakhouse & Lounge
From 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Mother’s Day Cholla Prime Steakhouse & Lounge will offer a pre fixe menu fit for the queen of the house, otherwise known as Mom. Choose from Cream of Asparagus soup with prosciutto crumble ($7) or Red Pear Salad with frisee lettuce, toasted pine nuts, feta cheese and sweet champagne vinaigrette ($7) to start. The main course is Blue Cheese Crusted Filet Mignon with roasted baby carrots and garlic rosemary mashed potatoes ($29). For dessert enjoy a Fresh Fruit Tart with seasonal fresh fruit, vanilla bean custard and raspberry sauce ($8) The restaurant’s pre fixe menu will be offered for $36, in addition to its regular menu.
Arizona Room Patio Grill
A three-course pre fixe menu will be offered throughout Mother’s Day. The menu begins with a Veggie Plate featuring grilled and chilled seasonal vegetables with hummus, Walnut Crusted Salmon served with raspberry coulis, roasted Yukon potatoes tossed in herb oil and sautéed haricot verts tossed in lemon butter and a Fresh Fruit Tart for dessert. The special menu is available for $19.
Salt River Café
From 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Mother’s Day, Salt River Café will offer a special in honor of mom. For $8.95, enjoy a Caprese Salad with grilled pesto marinated chicken breast, fresh mozzarella, roasted cured tomatoes and red onions on a bed of fresh spring mix and romaine tossed in balsamic vinaigrette and served with garlic bread. The Salt River Café menu also includes a fountain soda and a fruit tart.
