In March 2024, Steve released his Netflix special Steve Treviño: Simple Man , filmed live at the Tobin Center in San Antonio and directed by Renae Treviño. The special debuted as the #2 title on Netflix’s Top 10 , and went on to become one of Netflix’s highest-performing stand-up comedy specials of 2024 . In Simple Man , Steve reflects on marriage, family life, raising kids, and his upbringing — all through the lens of a husband, father, and son doing the best he can.
Steve and Renae also co-host the popular weekly podcast Steve Treviño and Captain Evil, where they candidly discuss relationships, family, and comedy while trying to stay married. The podcast has generated millions of downloads and views since its launch. Beyond the stage, Steve is a passionate supporter of veterans and regularly raises funds for Helicopters for Heroes, helping raise over a million dollars for wounded veterans and their families.
