While Arizona is known for its charm and unique culture, vacationers heading to the Phoenix area will soon be able to take in cultural presentations and performances representing many peoples of the world. That's because this March brings the return of the Phoenix Sister Cities WorldFest, a grand event that brings people from all over the world to the Grand Canyon State.

Now entering its seventh year, this annual festival, which is presented by the Arizona Republic in collaboration with the Alliance Beverage Distributing Company, is a free celebration of the ethnic and cultural diversity that defines the various sister cities of Phoenix.

Performers will take the stage to showcase cultural dances, songs and art from a number of peoples from across the globe. The event will also feature a wealth of favorite foods, treats and beers from the nine foreign nations, as well as a KidzWorld play area for the little ones. It all culminates in a festive parade that celebrates the multicultural spirit of friendship.

Best of all, the event takes place in downtown Phoenix, meaning guests can stay at Talking Stick Resort in nearby Scottsdale without missing any of the action.
