Talking Stick Golf Club, located on and owned exclusively by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, challenges golfers of all skill levels with two unique courses. From links-style adventure through the grasslands and ingenious bunkering of the North Course to a traditional style of play on the tree-lined fairways of the South Course, both provide a memorable and challenging day of play.

    Talking Stick Golf Club is managed by Troon Golf, the leader in upscale golf course management, and features an elegant clubhouse, full service dining room and private dining areas for groups of all sizes. A complete practice facility is available for all guests, as well as premier golf instruction from the Tim Mahoney Golf Academy.

  • Dining and Entertainment

    Hard work builds an appetite and Talking Stick Resort has numerous restaurant selections throughout the hotel. In addition to Wandering Horse Buffet, a multi-stationed international buffet, there is Black Fig Bistro, an express-service restaurant and Ocean Trail, a sophisticated seafood bar. The resort’s most prized dining experience, however, is Orange Sky. Located on the 15th floor – guests delight in Orange Sky’s delicious menu of aged beef, fresh seafood and seasonal vegetables and savor its 360-degree views of Scottsdale and the Valley.

    In addition to unique dining options, guests can select from an array of entertainment choices, including a 650-seat Showroom offering live entertainment.     An art exhibition at a casino? Absolutely. Talking Stick Resort’s art collection showcases postmodern pieces by artists of Native American descent, including those of Pima and Maricopa ancestry.

    The collection includes works from masters of the arts of painting, sculpture, metal work, ceramics, basketry and printmaking, as well as new additions of historical photography, custom pieces for Talking Stick Resort and two talking sticks that reflect the history of the Pima and Maricopa communities. Our unique exhibit blends tribal art with cutting edge modernism. Some artists are professional and familiar to general audiences, some are emerging, and others are wonderful discoveries of new talent.
