Hot Tuna and Leon Russell

On Friday, January 24, two incredible acts will take the Talking Stick Resort Showroom stage in a rocking celebration of blues and rock. Don’t miss your chance to see Hot Tuna and Leon Russell in this special one-night performance.

Equally celebrated, American blues-rock greats Hot Tuna will also perform in this extraordinary night of entertainment. From their days playing together as teenagers to their current acoustic and electric tours and all 50 years in between, Hot Tuna founding members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady have been at the forefront of American music. Fans have known since the 1970s that this band truly loves to play live. Feel the energy and excitement and hear favorites including “Been So Long,” “Hesitation Blues,” and “Keep on Truckin’.”

Legendary musician and songwriter Leon Russell has been performing his gospel-infused southern boogie piano rock, blues, and country music for over 50 years. Leon led the famous Joe Cocker's ‘Mad Dogs & Englishmen’ tour and performed with George Harrison and Friends at the Concert For Bangladesh. In 2011, Leon was inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame. Leon’s songwriting credits include “A Song For You,” “Delta Lady,” “Hummingbird,” “Tight Rope” and “This Masquerade.” He recorded a duet album with Sir Elton John in 2010; their single “If It Wasn’t For Bad” was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
